We’re delighted to have Jennifer Clouston join us at Colour Streams once again, this time for a special one-day Hand Stitching Workshop at our Macleay Island on Monday 9 November 2026.
If you weren’t able to join us for Jennifer’s longer November workshop, this gives you another chance to enjoy a creative day with her at Colour Streams.
If you love colour, texture, beautiful threads and the freedom to create something completely your own, this is a wonderful opportunity to spend a full day stitching, experimenting and learning with Jennifer.
Jennifer’s approach to embroidery is all about experimenting, exploring and enjoying the process. Rather than being tied to a prescribed design, you’ll be encouraged to play with different materials and techniques as you develop your own unique piece.
Throughout the day, you’ll explore stitching with threads, ribbons, beads and embellishments, while also learning about different fabrics, needles and techniques.
Whether you have been stitching for years or are simply keen to explore something new, the day is designed to be creative, relaxed and inspiring.
We want you to be able to arrive and simply enjoy the experience, so all of your workshop materials are included in the $295 workshop price.
The day is also fully catered, giving you plenty of time to concentrate on stitching, chatting, learning and creating without having to think about anything else.
There is something rather lovely about putting everything else aside for a day and giving yourself permission to simply make.
It’s a day for experimenting, trying new ideas and enjoying the company of other people who love textiles and hand stitching as much as you do.
We keep our workshops small so that everyone has the opportunity to interact with Jennifer and get the most from the day.
