We love our retailers and if you are interested in stocking our products, we'd love to hear from you!
To be eligible to purchase wholesale, you must be a registered business, organisation, or individual with a valid ABN or proof of business.
The first step to becoming a wholesale customer is to submit an application. You can choose to be an online customer or pay for goods at the time of ordering or you can apply for a 30-day account. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for a 30-day account.
We welcome retailers from outside of Australia!
We accept most major credit cards as well as Direct Deposit, Shopify Pay, PayPal, AfterPay, and POLi Internet Banking. We can also issue PayPal Money Requests.
Orders with payment by Direct Deposit will not be processed until funds have been received into our account (please note, that this can sometimes take several days).
Whilst we aim for consistency, all threads and fabrics are hand-dyed but due to the hand dyeing process, there may be a difference. We recommend that you acquire all the thread or fabric you need for a project at the same time to ensure it's likeness. Each hand-dyed thread and fabric is unique!
Colour variations may also be due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor.
After dyeing, we heat set our threads and fabrics and rinse them multiple times to release any leftover dye. Generally. no washes or detergents are used when rinsing so that people with skin sensitivities should not be affected.
If you have a dark colour with a lighter colour, or a saturated colour with a paler shade, it is important to test the colour fastness. Colours may bleed.
Hand-dyed threads and fabrics are best washed by dry-cleaning.
The best way to store your silk threads or fabrics is to keep them out of direct sunlight. Sunlight, especially UV rays, can fade colours and, over a prolonged period of time, cause the silk threads to become brittle.
To remove the wrinkles from your velvet, wet the velvet and put in a tumble dryer on hot to dry. Alternatively, use the shot of steam on your iron - with the iron sitting upright, and pressing the shot of steam button, drape and drag the back of the velvet over the iron until the wrinkles disappear.
Yes you can! We frequently supply longer longer lengths of ribbons and threads to our retailers, designers, and customers and can also hand-dye pieces of fabric outside of our standard sizes and colours. The only limit with hand-dyed fabric is that the length, in one piece, can be no more than 2 metres long. Before we start dyeing fabrics, Special Orders will need to be paid in full.
Please contact us to discuss your needs.
