Gimp is a coarse thread formed by a smooth satin fine thread tightly wrapped around a core thread.
Gimp is mostly couched on top of your work creating textures and defining lines, knots, and loops and can be used for Trellis, Pekinese, Herringbone or any stitch done on the surface.
Our Gimp can also be used for stitching using a chenille needle and also used in canvaswork for any flat stitch such as Byzantine.
